Delta High School is slated for closure in June 2013. The ARC North Committee is in a planning and public consultation phase in the shadow of an official staff recommendation that the school be closed. As one of Hamilton's oldest existing high schools, there is concern both for the physical structure and the cost to the city and neighbourhood of losing an anchoring institution.
